In April 2008 Sothebys in Sydney held the auction Important Paintings, which included the work Australian Frogs On Waterlilies by Lin Onus. The »bidding war« ended at AUD 132,000.00 (€ 79,863.05), 47% above the upper estimate. Other works by Lin Onus have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of AUD 132,000.00 (€ 81,164.35) in May 2007 for the work Australian Breeark And Ngarak.
