The work Golden Autumn by Lin Hukui was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2021. The auction ended at the price of HKD 200,000.00 (€ 22,237.97), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 150,000.00 – 200,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lin Hukui - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Cranes in Snow, which sold at auction in May 2011 for HKD 560,000.00 (€ 50,094.60).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Golden Autumn von Lin Hukui kam im November 2021 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 200.000,00 (€ 22.237,97) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 150.000,00 – 200.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Lin Hukui mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Cranes in Snow beobachtet, die im Mai 2011 für HKD 560.000,00 (€ 50.094,60) versteigert wurde.
