In December last year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Modern and Contemporary Ink Paintings, which included the work Cranes in the Autumn by Lin Hukui. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 327,600.00 (€ 39,258.10), 31% above the upper estimate. Other works by Lin Hukui have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 560,000.00 (€ 50,094.60) in May 2011 for the work Cranes in Snow.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 31 % übertroffen
Im Dezember letzten Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Modern and Contemporary Ink Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Cranes in the Autumn von Lin Hukui zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 327.600,00 (€ 39.258,10) und damit 31% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Lin Hukui haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von HKD 560.000,00 (€ 50.094,60) im Mai 2011 für die Arbeit Cranes in Snow beobachtet.
