Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Dancing In Auspicious Snow by Lin Hukui was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2021. It changed hands for a price of HKD 187,500.00 (€ 19,820.20) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 150,000.00 – 200,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lin Hukui - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Cranes in Snow, which sold at auction in May 2011 for HKD 560,000.00 (€ 50,094.60).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Dancing In Auspicious Snow von Lin Hukui kam im Mai 2021 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 187.500,00 (€ 19.820,20) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 150.000,00 – 200.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Lin Hukui mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Cranes in Snow beobachtet, die im Mai 2011 für HKD 560.000,00 (€ 50.094,60) versteigert wurde.
