Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Lydia Masterkova could be acquired at Christies in London in November 2011 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Russian Art auction, this work without title changed hands for GBP 18,750.00 (€ 21,888.71) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Lydia Masterkova have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in February 2007 with an auction result of GBP 81,600.00 (€ 120,969.07).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Lydia Masterkova konnte im November 2011 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Russian Art wechselte diese Arbeit ohne Titel für GBP 18.750,00 (€ 21.888,71) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lydia Masterkova auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Februar 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 81.600,00 (€ 120.969,07).
