Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Composition Avec Dauphins by Lydia Masterkova was sold in the Russian Art auction at Christies in London in June 2013. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 25,000.00 – 35,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 32,097.43) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lydia Masterkova - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in February 2007 for GBP 81,600.00 (€ 120,969.07).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Composition Avec Dauphins von Lydia Masterkova wurde im Juni 2013 in der Auktion Russian Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 27.500,00 (€ 32.097,43) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Lydia Masterkova mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Februar 2007 für GBP 81.600,00 (€ 120.969,07) versteigert wurde.
