This work without title by Liang Quan was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in May this year. It achieved a price of HKD 89,600.00 (€ 10,739.55), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 49%. Admittedly, works by Liang Quan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in April 2015 with an auction result of CNY 587,500.00 (€ 84,845.91).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 49 % übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Liang Quan kam im Mai diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 89.600,00 (€ 10.739,55) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 49%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Liang Quan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 587.500,00 (€ 84.845,91).
