Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2018 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Chinese Contemporary Ink, which included the work Ode to Life by Li Jin. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 200,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 225,000.00 (€ 24,582.26). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Li Jin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Feast (Set Of Five) in April 2016 with an auction result of HKD 2,840,000.00 (€ 319,968.53).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2018 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Chinese Contemporary Ink durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ode to Life von Li Jin zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 200.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 225.000,00 (€ 24.582,26) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Li Jin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Feast (Set Of Five) im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.840.000,00 (€ 319.968,53).
