Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Li Jin achieved an unexpectedly high price at POLY in August last year. In the Chinese Contemporary Ink Paintings - Contemporary Chinese Classical Paintings & Contemporary Chinese New Paintings auction, the work Everybody Gets Old / Massage sold for HKD 100,300.00 (€ 12,695.70) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Li Jin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Feast (Set Of Five) in April 2016 with an auction result of HKD 2,840,000.00 (€ 319,968.53).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Li Jin erzielte im August letzten Jahres bei POLY einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Chinese Contemporary Ink Paintings - Contemporary Chinese Classical Paintings & Contemporary Chinese New Paintings wurde die Arbeit Everybody Gets Old / Massage für HKD 100.300,00 (€ 12.695,70) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 50.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Li Jin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Feast (Set Of Five) im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.840.000,00 (€ 319.968,53).
