This artwork by Li Jin achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in May this year. In the Michael Goedhuis | Brush and Bronze auction, the work Reading at Night, 2005 sold for GBP 5,737.50 (€ 6,675.62) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Li Jin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Feast (Set Of Five) in April 2016 with an auction result of HKD 2,840,000.00 (€ 319,968.53).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 91 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Li Jin erzielte im Mai diesen Jahres bei Bonhams einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Michael Goedhuis | Brush and Bronze wurde die Arbeit Reading at Night, 2005 für GBP 5.737,50 (€ 6.675,62) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Li Jin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Feast (Set Of Five) im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.840.000,00 (€ 319.968,53).
