In May this year Bonhams held the auction Michael Goedhuis | Brush and Bronze, which included the work Health, 2005 by Li Jin. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 4,462.50 (€ 5,192.15), 49% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Li Jin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Feast (Set Of Five) in April 2016 with an auction result of HKD 2,840,000.00 (€ 319,968.53).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 49 % übertroffen
Im Mai diesen Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion Michael Goedhuis | Brush and Bronze durch, in der auch die Arbeit Health, 2005 von Li Jin zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 4.462,50 (€ 5.192,15) und damit 49% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Li Jin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Feast (Set Of Five) im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.840.000,00 (€ 319.968,53).
