Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Lovers (Love is One Word) / Woman’s Deep Sorrow and Hatred by Li Jin was auctioned at Christies in Cologne in May this year. The price achieved of HKD 63,000.00 (€ 7,551.25) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 100,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Li Jin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Feast (Set Of Five) in April 2016 with an auction result of HKD 2,840,000.00 (€ 319,968.53).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Lovers (Love is One Word) / Woman’s Deep Sorrow and Hatred von Li Jin kam im Mai diesen Jahres bei Christies in Köln zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 63.000,00 (€ 7.551,25) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Li Jin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Feast (Set Of Five) im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.840.000,00 (€ 319.968,53).
