Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Time Walk At Night by Li Jikai was sold in the Contemporary Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2019. The price achieved of HKD 40,000.00 (€ 4,553.16) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Li Jikai achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Growth Time in March 2008 with an auction result of USD 109,000.00 (€ 68,965.52).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Time Walk At Night von Li Jikai wurde im April 2019 in der Auktion Contemporary Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 40.000,00 (€ 4.553,16) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Li Jikai erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Growth Time im März 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 109.000,00 (€ 68.965,52).
