Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2016 a collector was able to acquire the work Eggs by Li Jikai for HKD 23,600.00 (€ 2,875.82). This price was achieved in the auction Chinese and Asian Modern and Contemporary Art at POLY in Macau and was even below the estimate range of HKD 25,000.00 – 45,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Li Jikai achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Growth Time in March 2008 with an auction result of USD 109,000.00 (€ 68,965.52).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2016 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Eggs von Li Jikai für HKD 23.600,00 (€ 2.875,82) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Chinese and Asian Modern and Contemporary Art bei POLY in Macau erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 25.000,00 – 45.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Li Jikai erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Growth Time im März 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 109.000,00 (€ 68.965,52).
