Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Stream(Painted In 2008) by Li Jikai was sold in the Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2019. The price achieved of HKD 94,400.00 (€ 10,789.78) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Admittedly, works by Li Jikai have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Growth Time in March 2008 with an auction result of USD 109,000.00 (€ 68,965.52).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Stream(Painted In 2008) von Li Jikai wurde im Oktober 2019 in der Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 94.400,00 (€ 10.789,78) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Li Jikai auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Growth Time im März 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 109.000,00 (€ 68.965,52).
