Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2021 POLY in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Calligraphy by Li Hongzhang. The price achieved of HKD 18,000.00 (€ 2,001.42) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Li Hongzhang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy in April 2013 with an auction result of HKD 1,035,000.00 (€ 101,314.93).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2021 führte POLY in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Calligraphy von Li Hongzhang zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 18.000,00 (€ 2.001,42) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 15.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Li Hongzhang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.035.000,00 (€ 101.314,93).
