Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Calligraphy Couplet In Regular Scrip by Li Hongzhang was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2015. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 80,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 87,500.00 (€ 10,222.33). Admittedly, works by Li Hongzhang have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Calligraphy in April 2013 with an auction result of HKD 1,035,000.00 (€ 101,314.93).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Regular Scrip von Li Hongzhang kam im Oktober 2015 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 80.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 87.500,00 (€ 10.222,33) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Li Hongzhang auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Calligraphy im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.035.000,00 (€ 101.314,93).
