A top price for Li Gang - as previously expected
The work Elements of Ink No. 20140320 by Li Gang was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2017. The price achieved of HKD 250,000.00 (€ 28,546.64) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Elements of Ink No. 20140320 is the most expensive artwork by Li Gang that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Elements of Ink No. 20140320 von Li Gang kam im Mai 2017 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 250.000,00 (€ 28.546,64) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 200.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben worden.
