Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ink Element 20180313 by Li Gang was sold in the FIRST OPEN | Shanghai auction at Christies in Shanghai in September 2018. The price achieved of CNY 33,600.00 (€ 4,209.40) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CNY 28,000.00 – 38,000.00. Admittedly, works by Li Gang have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Elements of Ink No. 20140320 in May 2017 with an auction result of HKD 250,000.00 (€ 28,546.64).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Ink Element 20180313 von Li Gang wurde im September 2018 in der Auktion FIRST OPEN | Shanghai bei Christies in Shanghai versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CNY 33.600,00 (€ 4.209,40) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CNY 28.000,00 – 38.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Li Gang auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Elements of Ink No. 20140320 im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 250.000,00 (€ 28.546,64).
