The work Russia Today by Leonid Sokov was sold in the Russian Pictures auction at Sothebys in London in December 2020. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 18,900.00 (€ 21,112.98), 26% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Leonid Sokov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Lenin And Giacometti, which sold at auction in June 2018 for GBP 68,750.00 (€ 77,699.22).

Die Arbeit Russia Today von Leonid Sokov wurde im Dezember 2020 in der Auktion Russian Pictures bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 18.900,00 (€ 21.112,98) und damit 26% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Leonid Sokov mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Lenin And Giacometti beobachtet, die im Juni 2018 für GBP 68.750,00 (€ 77.699,22) versteigert wurde.
