Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2020 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures, which included the work Lenin and Malevich's Teapot by Leonid Sokov. It changed hands for a price of GBP 6,930.00 (€ 7,741.43) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Leonid Sokov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lenin And Giacometti in June 2018 with an auction result of GBP 68,750.00 (€ 77,699.22).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2020 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lenin and Malevich's Teapot von Leonid Sokov zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 6.930,00 (€ 7.741,43) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Leonid Sokov erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Lenin And Giacometti im Juni 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 68.750,00 (€ 77.699,22).
