In June 2020 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures, which included the work Meeting Of Two Sculptures by Leonid Sokov. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 20,000.00 (€ 22,026.53), 67% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Leonid Sokov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Lenin And Giacometti, which sold at auction in June 2018 for GBP 68,750.00 (€ 77,699.22).

Im Juni 2020 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Meeting Of Two Sculptures von Leonid Sokov zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 22.026,53) und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Leonid Sokov mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Lenin And Giacometti beobachtet, die im Juni 2018 für GBP 68.750,00 (€ 77.699,22) versteigert wurde.
