In October 2019 Sothebys in New York held the auction Escape Artists 2.0: The Non-Conformists Online, which included the work Gorby I And Gorby Ii 2 by Leonid Sokov. It changed hands for a price of USD 1,875.00 (€ 1,680.86) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Leonid Sokov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lenin And Giacometti in June 2018 with an auction result of GBP 68,750.00 (€ 77,699.22).

Im Oktober 2019 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Escape Artists 2.0: The Non-Conformists Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Gorby I And Gorby Ii 2 von Leonid Sokov zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 1.875,00 (€ 1.680,86) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Leonid Sokov erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Lenin And Giacometti im Juni 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 68.750,00 (€ 77.699,22).
