Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Journey, Russia by Leonid Lamm was sold in the Russian Pictures auction at Sothebys in London in December 2020. The price achieved of GBP 5,040.00 (€ 5,630.13) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Leonid Lamm have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Adam And Eve, A Pair From The Seventh Heaven Series in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 24,500.00 (€ 34,306.34).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Journey, Russia von Leonid Lamm wurde im Dezember 2020 in der Auktion Russian Pictures bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.040,00 (€ 5.630,13) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Leonid Lamm auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Adam And Eve, A Pair From The Seventh Heaven Series im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 24.500,00 (€ 34.306,34).
