Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Glamorous Exit (Entrance) by Leonid Lamm was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in October 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 3,500.00 (€ 3,137.61) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Leonid Lamm achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Adam And Eve, A Pair From The Seventh Heaven Series in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 24,500.00 (€ 34,306.34).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Glamorous Exit (Entrance) von Leonid Lamm kam im Oktober 2019 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 3.500,00 (€ 3.137,61) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Leonid Lamm erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Adam And Eve, A Pair From The Seventh Heaven Series im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 24.500,00 (€ 34.306,34).
