Die Arbeit Grapefruit and Lemons von Leonard McComb kam im Juni 2007 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 1.920,00 (€ 2.849,18) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 60%. Für andere Arbeiten von Leonard McComb mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Fish beobachtet, die im Juni 2007 für GBP 5.760,00 (€ 8.547,55) versteigert wurde.
