Auction result fails to reach estimate
In June 2016 a collector was able to acquire the work Kate, USA by Leonard Freed for EUR 992.00. This price was achieved in the auction Photographie at Lempertz in Cologne and was even lower than the EUR 1,200.00 estimate set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Leonard Freed achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Selected images from Police Work in October 2016 with an auction result of USD 11,250.00 (€ 10,262.73).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Im Juni 2016 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Kate, USA von Leonard Freed für EUR 992,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Photographie bei Lempertz in Köln erzielt und lag noch unterhalb des vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreises von EUR 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Leonard Freed erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Selected images from Police Work im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 11.250,00 (€ 10.262,73).
