Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Léon Arthur Tutundjian achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in New York in December last year. In the Impressionist & Modern Art auction, the work Sans titre sold for USD 75,975.00 (€ 71,017.95) - well above the upper estimate of USD 35,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Léon Arthur Tutundjian - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Armenian still Life On A Balcony, which sold at auction in December 2015 for GBP 125,000.00 (€ 169,743.99).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Léon Arthur Tutundjian erzielte im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art wurde die Arbeit Sans titre für USD 75.975,00 (€ 71.017,95) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 35.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Léon Arthur Tutundjian mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Armenian still Life On A Balcony beobachtet, die im Dezember 2015 für GBP 125.000,00 (€ 169.743,99) versteigert wurde.
