Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2019 Sothebys in London held the auction 20th Century Art: A Different Perspective, which included the work La Grenade Éclatée by Léon Arthur Tutundjian. It changed hands for a price of GBP 32,500.00 (€ 38,162.95) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Admittedly, works by Léon Arthur Tutundjian have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Armenian still Life On A Balcony in December 2015 with an auction result of GBP 125,000.00 (€ 169,743.99).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2019 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 20th Century Art: A Different Perspective durch, in der auch die Arbeit La Grenade Éclatée von Léon Arthur Tutundjian zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 32.500,00 (€ 38.162,95) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 25.000,00 – 35.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Léon Arthur Tutundjian auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Armenian still Life On A Balcony im Dezember 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 125.000,00 (€ 169.743,99).
