The work La Boule Noire by Léon Arthur Tutundjian was sold in the Impressionist and Modern Art auction at Sothebys in Paris in June 2010. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 21,150.00 41% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Léon Arthur Tutundjian have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Armenian still Life On A Balcony in December 2015 with an auction result of GBP 125,000.00 (€ 169,743.99).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 41 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit La Boule Noire von Léon Arthur Tutundjian wurde im Juni 2010 in der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art bei Sothebys in Paris versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 21.150,00 und damit 41% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Léon Arthur Tutundjian auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Armenian still Life On A Balcony im Dezember 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 125.000,00 (€ 169.743,99).
