Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work La cavaliere by Léon Indenbaum for GBP 25,250.00 (€ 29,662.25). This price was achieved in the auction Ecole de Paris 1905-1939, The Jewish Artists at Bonhams in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 30,000.00 – 35,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Léon Indenbaum - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Artist'S Wife And Daughter, which sold at auction in June 2013 for GBP 61,875.00 (€ 72,219.21).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit La cavaliere von Léon Indenbaum für GBP 25.250,00 (€ 29.662,25) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Ecole de Paris 1905-1939, The Jewish Artists bei Bonhams in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 30.000,00 – 35.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Léon Indenbaum mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Artist'S Wife And Daughter beobachtet, die im Juni 2013 für GBP 61.875,00 (€ 72.219,21) versteigert wurde.
