Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Golden Cat by Léon Indenbaum was sold in the Russian Pictures auction at Sothebys in London in December 2020. The price achieved of GBP 4,410.00 (€ 4,926.36) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Léon Indenbaum achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Artist'S Wife And Daughter in June 2013 with an auction result of GBP 61,875.00 (€ 72,219.21).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Golden Cat von Léon Indenbaum wurde im Dezember 2020 in der Auktion Russian Pictures bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.410,00 (€ 4.926,36) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Léon Indenbaum erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Artist'S Wife And Daughter im Juni 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 61.875,00 (€ 72.219,21).
