This artwork by Léon Indenbaum achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in November 2021. In the Russian Pictures auction, the work Chaïm Soutine sold for GBP 22,680.00 (€ 26,628.45) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Léon Indenbaum - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Artist'S Wife And Daughter, which sold at auction in June 2013 for GBP 61,875.00 (€ 72,219.21).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Léon Indenbaum erzielte im November 2021 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Russian Pictures wurde die Arbeit Chaïm Soutine für GBP 22.680,00 (€ 26.628,45) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 8.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Léon Indenbaum mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Artist'S Wife And Daughter beobachtet, die im Juni 2013 für GBP 61.875,00 (€ 72.219,21) versteigert wurde.
