Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2003 Christies in Milan held the auction ARTE MODERNA E CONTEMPORANEA, which included the work Alberi intrecciati by Léon Gischia. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 4,464.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Léon Gischia have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in September 2017 the work Composition was auctioned for USD 6,875.00 (€ 5,819.86).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2003 führte Christies in Mailand die Auktion ARTE MODERNA E CONTEMPORANEA durch, in der auch die Arbeit Alberi intrecciati von Léon Gischia zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 4.464,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Léon Gischia konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im September 2017 die Arbeit Composition für USD 6.875,00 (€ 5.819,86) versteigert.
