Auction result well in line with expectations
In June last year Artcurial in Paris held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art, which included the work Etude Pour La Jeunesse De Samson by Léon Bonnat. The price achieved of EUR 2,362.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Léon Bonnat achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Samson's Youth in October 2006 with an auction result of USD 408,000.00 (€ 319,423.78).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni letzten Jahres führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Etude Pour La Jeunesse De Samson von Léon Bonnat zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.362,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Léon Bonnat erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Samson's Youth im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 408.000,00 (€ 319.423,78).
