Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Horses in a landscape by Leo Gestel was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2017. It changed hands for a price of EUR 2,750.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Leo Gestel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Gladiolen in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 505,250.00 (€ 638,652.94).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Horses in a landscape von Leo Gestel kam im Juni 2017 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 2.750,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Leo Gestel erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Gladiolen im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 505.250,00 (€ 638.652,94).
