Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2012 Christies in Zurich held the auction Swiss Art, which included the work Flugfeld, 1976 by Lenz Klotz. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of CHF 15,000.00 – 25,000.00, the actual price achieved of CHF 15,600.00 (€ 12,908.59) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Lenz Klotz have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2010 the work Der Diskurs soll nämlich nie aufhören, 1960 was auctioned for CHF 22,800.00 (€ 17,216.40).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2012 führte Christies in Zürich die Auktion Swiss Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Flugfeld, 1976 von Lenz Klotz zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von CHF 15.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von CHF 15.600,00 (€ 12.908,59) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Lenz Klotz konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni 2010 die Arbeit Der Diskurs soll nämlich nie aufhören, 1960 für CHF 22.800,00 (€ 17.216,40) versteigert.
