MILLER COLLECTION at Christies in New York and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of USD 700.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Lenore Tawney; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot without title sold at auction in October 2011 with the realized price of USD 8,125.00 (€ 5,825.63).
