Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Lennart Jirlow could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in November this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern Art + Design auction, the work Village landscape changed hands for SEK 95,000.00 (€ 8,343.42) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 100,000.00 – 125,000.00. Admittedly, works by Lennart Jirlow have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Cycling in Provence in April 2016 with an auction result of SEK 500,000.00 (€ 54,409.58).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Lennart Jirlow konnte im November diesen Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern Art + Design wechselte die Arbeit Village landscape für SEK 95.000,00 (€ 8.343,42) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 100.000,00 – 125.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lennart Jirlow auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Cycling in Provence im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 500.000,00 (€ 54.409,58).
