Despite a disappointment, a good price for Lennart Jirlow
In April 2016 a collector was able to acquire the work Cycling in Provence by Lennart Jirlow for SEK 500,000.00 (€ 54,409.58). This price was achieved in the auction Moderna at Bukowski in Stockholm and was even below the estimate range of SEK 800,000.00 – 1,000,000.00 set by the auction house. Despite this disappointing result, Cycling in Provence is the most expensive artwork by Lennart Jirlow that we have observed at auction so far.
Trotz Enttäuschung ein guter Preis für Lennart Jirlow
Im April 2016 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Cycling in Provence von Lennart Jirlow für SEK 500.000,00 (€ 54.409,58) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Moderna bei Bukowski in Stockholm erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 800.000,00 – 1.000.000,00. Trotz dieses enttäuschenden Ergebnisses ist Cycling in Provence das teuerste Kunstwerk von Lennart Jirlow, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
