In May this year Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Modern Art + Design, which included the work The head waiter is resting by Lennart Jirlow. The result of SEK 60,000.00 (€ 5,169.89) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lennart Jirlow achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cycling in Provence in April 2016 with an auction result of SEK 500,000.00 (€ 54,409.58).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Mai diesen Jahres führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Modern Art + Design durch, in der auch die Arbeit The head waiter is resting von Lennart Jirlow zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von SEK 60.000,00 (€ 5.169,89) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lennart Jirlow erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cycling in Provence im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 500.000,00 (€ 54.409,58).
