Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Ladies in Palaces by Leng Mei was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April last year. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 320,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 327,600.00 (€ 39,609.22). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Leng Mei achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Young Hercules in May 2010 with an auction result of HKD 16,900,000.00 (€ 1,755,719.95).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Ladies in Palaces von Leng Mei kam im April letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 320.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 327.600,00 (€ 39.609,22) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Leng Mei erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Young Hercules im Mai 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 16.900.000,00 (€ 1.755.719,95).
