It achieved a price of HKD 752,500.00 (€ 81,741.01), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 51%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Leng Mei achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Young Hercules in May 2010 with an auction result of HKD 16,900,000.00 (€ 1,755,719.95).

Die Arbeit Celebrating Prosperity And Longevity von Leng Mei kam im Juni 2021 bei Bonhams in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 752.500,00 (€ 81.741,01) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 51%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Leng Mei erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Young Hercules im Mai 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 16.900.000,00 (€ 1.755.719,95).
