Admittedly, works by Leng Mei have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Young Hercules in May 2010 with an auction result of HKD 16,900,000.00 (€ 1,755,719.95).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 401.000,00 (€ 291.064,82) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 60%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Leng Mei auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Young Hercules im Mai 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 16.900.000,00 (€ 1.755.719,95).
