Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work 8A07 by Lee Bae was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2009. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 300,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 325,000.00 (€ 29,679.31). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lee Bae - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Issu du feu 51 - 2002, which sold at auction in October last year for EUR 118,080.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit 8A07 von Lee Bae kam im Mai 2009 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 300.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 325.000,00 (€ 29.679,31) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Lee Bae mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Issu du feu 51 - 2002 beobachtet, die im Oktober letzten Jahres für EUR 118.080,00 versteigert wurde.
