Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Lee Bae was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2010. The price achieved of HKD 250,000.00 (€ 25,972.19) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Admittedly, works by Lee Bae have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Issu du feu 51 - 2002 in October last year with an auction result of EUR 118,080.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Lee Bae kam im Mai 2010 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 250.000,00 (€ 25.972,19) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 200.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lee Bae auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Issu du feu 51 - 2002 im Oktober letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 118.080,00.
