A top price for Lee Bae - as previously expected
In October last year Artcurial in Paris held the auction Generation 21 by Artcurial, which included the work Issu du feu 51 - 2002 by Lee Bae. The price achieved of EUR 118,080.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Issu du feu 51 - 2002 is the most expensive artwork by Lee Bae that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Oktober letzten Jahres führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Generation 21 by Artcurial durch, in der auch die Arbeit Issu du feu 51 - 2002 von Lee Bae zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 118.080,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Issu du feu 51 - 2002 das teuerste Kunstwerk von Lee Bae, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
