Auction result well in line with expectations
The work "Strålknippet över staden (Solnedgång över Gränna)" Rays of light over the city/Sunset over Gränna, Sweden by Leander Engström was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in October 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of SEK 250,000.00 – 300,000.00, the actual price achieved of SEK 260,000.00 (€ 25,077.66) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Leander Engström achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Badstranden" in May 2019 with an auction result of SEK 4,500,000.00 (€ 424,208.45).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit "Strålknippet över staden (Solnedgång över Gränna)" Rays of light over the city/Sunset over Gränna, Sweden von Leander Engström kam im Oktober 2018 bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 250.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von SEK 260.000,00 (€ 25.077,66) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Leander Engström erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Badstranden" im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 4.500.000,00 (€ 424.208,45).
