Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Lea Nikel achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in December 2013. In the Israeli & International Art auction, the work without title sold for USD 40,625.00 (€ 29,483.27) - well above the upper estimate of USD 20,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Lea Nikel; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot without title sold at auction in December 2014 with the realized price of USD 56,250.00 (€ 46,483.76).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Lea Nikel erzielte im Dezember 2013 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Israeli & International Art wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 40.625,00 (€ 29.483,27) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 20.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Lea Nikel; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Dezember 2014 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 56.250,00 (€ 46.483,76).
