Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Lea Nikel was sold in the Israeli & International Art auction at Sothebys in New York in December 2018. The price achieved of USD 6,250.00 (€ 5,455.66) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Lea Nikel have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in December 2014 with an auction result of USD 56,250.00 (€ 46,483.76).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Lea Nikel wurde im Dezember 2018 in der Auktion Israeli & International Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.250,00 (€ 5.455,66) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lea Nikel auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Dezember 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 56.250,00 (€ 46.483,76).
